I am a never married Catholic man. For most of this year I have been dating a Catholic woman, at first I believed truly sent from God for some purpose. We live a short distance apart and I had hoped that this might be the first Christmas in many years that I would not be alone. Alas, the last couple months we’ve argued much, and the argument resumed this evening. We will not be seeing each other for Christmas. I don’t know if there’s any hope left for the relationship. As i have no close Catholic friends or family to support me in this, I hope you will pray for us, for discernment, understanding, kindness… however it turns out, as sad and disappointed as I am, I hate the thought that she is hurting too.

When I am ill, and my head
and hands cannot work, and I am lonely:
Jesus, help me!

Always, always, in spite of
weakness, falls, and shortcomings of every kind:
Jesus, help me and never forsake me. – Amen
 
Dear Jesus,
Please help these two people to follow whatever God’s will is for the situation, and in doing so, become closer to you. If God wills that this relationship not go any further, please show the OP the way to cope and the way forward in keeping with what God wants him to do.
In Your name I humbly ask this. Amen.

Dear Blessed Mother, St. Joseph, and St. Anne, Please pray for this intention.
