I am beginning to realize that I made some decisions a year and a half ago that, in retrospect, were really me turning my back on God. I am done running away from Him and am trying to run back to Him, but the same things that kept me away before are threatening to keep me away again. Pray that I can overcome my anxieties and insecurities to follow the Lord’s will for my life, to learn to love and trust Him, and to rest in His love for me as His daughter.

  • O most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven, who brought forth the Son of God still remaining a Virgin, assist us in this necessity. O Star of the Sea, help us, and show us that you are our Mother.
O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth, we humbly ask you from the depths of our heart to help us in this necessity. There are none who can withstand your power. O show us that you are our Mother.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Have you considered making an appointment with your priest to talk about your situation? And/or going to confession? In my past struggles, these two actions have been immensely helpful to me.

Hail holy queen, Mother of mercy,
firefly’s life, her sweetness and her hope,
