i asked a month ago for prayers for Gordon who suffered a devastating stroke a month ago , he has improved a little but is still seriously ill , if you could spare a moment to help him with a prayer that would be nice ,
 
St. Luke, please intercede for Gordon. Help with the continued recovery from this stroke. Bless the doctors and all medical personnel involved in his care.

Have mercy, O loving God,
upon all who have suffered a stroke.
Remove the sudden fear that befalls them.
Endow them with courage in the struggle
to recover what has been lost.
Grant them strength and hope
to envision new days ahead
and a spirit of faith
to take the risk of living fully
once again.
Amen.
 
Lord, please touch Gordon with your divine, healing hand, and remedy his every affliction, whether physical or spiritual, as a sign unto the world of your domination of all afflictions, especially of sin, the true affliction of eternal danger in this existence. Lead him through this and all matters joyfully, with the help of loving angels, ever toward the eternal fountain of relief. Comfort also all family who suffer with him and lead them to heaven also, and grant all medical staff working with him much angelic wisdom and guidance. Have mercy, Lord. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.
