Quake-stunned Puerto Rico hit by another 5.9-magnitude shock

The earthquake hit as the island's residents were already reeling from a series of major temblors this week, including one with a 6.4 magnitude Tuesday that was the biggest in a century.

Earthquakes have damaged the islands of the Caribbean
– especially Puerto Rico. Please pray for the welfare of my
family members in Puerto Rico and all other residents of
the island. God bless you all.

P.S. I haven’t been on in days because of problems with
laptop. I’m relying on my phone and tablet for essential

Lift Up Those Who Have Fallen

God Our Father,
You know that the people of Puerto Rico
have been tested by natural disasters. Holy
One, we implore you to comfort and strengthen
residents of Puerto Rico. Surround them
with Your grace and peace through storm
or earthquake, fire or flood.

By Your Spirit, lift up those who have fallen,
sustain those who work to rescue or rebuild,
and fill us with the hope of Your new creation;
through You, our rock and redeemer.

Through Christ Our Lord, who lives and reigns
with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever.
