Prayers for you friend

My friend is homeless and he keeps getting in trouble with the law. Mostly minor stuff. For example, he is not supposed to be in a certain part of town or be out and about past a curfew but he has to be out because he does not always have a place to stay. He sleeps in his car. He recently got arrested again and got his car impounded. I already loaned him $250 for a release slip from the police dept and today I will loan him another $500 to get the car out of impound. But he is signing over the pink slip to me and signing a promissory note that I have already written up.

The reason I am helping him is because he pretty much is partly responsible for the career I have so I feel I own him. But this is the last time I help him because he keeps asking for help. This time I can say “I already loaned you $750 plus many other favors. That is it, no more” I do want to get paid back but more so I want him to stay out of trouble. He is actually a good guy just he makes dumb mistakes. But I have been there too. Prayers for my friend would be appreciated. Thank you.
 
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful, and kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit, and they shall be created, and You shall renew the face of the earth. Amen.
