Prayers needed for ill father

My father has had a longstanding, painful autoimmune disease for which he needs prayer, but on top of that his blood results from today are indicating strongly the possibility of Leukemia. He is going in for a bone marrow biopsy and we are hoping for the best; that what he has can be treated. We are concerned about him and he is concerned because their is no money for treatment. He only gets Social Security and Medicare. It does not go far and there is no one to help and no program he qualifies for so it’s a tough situation. Please join me in praying for him that his condition is treatable and that he can somehow find the funds for that treatment. His name is Bob. Thank you so much.

Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to you in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you restore your servant to health again. the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Bob’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Father of goodness and love, hear our prayers for the sick members of our community and for all who are in need. Amid mental and physical suffering may they find consolation in your healing presence. Show your mercy as you close wounds, cure illness, make broken bodies whole and free downcast spirits. May these special people find lasting health and deliverance, and so join us in thanking you for all your gifts. We ask this through the Lord Jesus who healed those who believed. Amen.
 
Our dear precious Lord I lift Bob to You…you know his needs and that of his family. Be near to him now and all those family members whose hearts are so concerned for him. Guide and help them all. Provide for all of their needs during this tme. If within Your will please bring a healing and notice of good news and may he and all those in his family draw closer to YOU through all of this. Bring Your love that passes ALL understanding to these for whom we pray, amen.
