I pray for healing, Lord, and that we be strengthened in faith.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou among women,
And blessed is the fruit of Thy Womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners now and at the hour of death.

Loving God,

We lift up in prayer intentions for this family and ask for your blessings and mercy for dear son. Please grant him courage, strong faith, and resiliency as he deals with the suffering and challenges in his life. Please also bless these dear parents who worry for the safety and the security of their son. Please grant the entire family the ability to trust in your divine providence, and may this time in their lives draw them ever closer to one another and your son Jesus our Lord. We ask for great compassion and competence for the medical personnel who minister to this young man in the hopes that he may be healed, in accordance with your Holy and perfect will. Lord, we lift this prayer up for this family:

PRAYER FOR HEALING

Merciful God,
we remember before you all who are sick this day.
Give them courage to live with their disease.
Help them to face and overcome their fears.
Be with them when they are alone or rejected.
Comfort them when they are discouraged.
And touch them with your healing Spirit
that they may find and possess eternal life,
now and forever.
