Hi all. I sincerely will like to ask for your prayers for the following intention:

A coworker of mine just welcomed his first child, a boy, into the world about a week ago.

3 days ago, the doctors diagnosed that the baby has some heart complications. According to my coworker, his baby’s pulmonary valve is abnormally narrow, causing insufficient blood flow from the right ventricle to the lungs, which led to stress and swelling of the right ventricle and low oxygen level in the blood.

They’re visiting the cardiologist today to get the situation accessed and to determine follow-up action.

As I mentioned, this baby is their first child. Both husband and wife just graduated from college and joined the workforce less than 2 years ago, so they’re quite tight financially. My coworker’s wife is very upset about what’s going on, and we’re all quite worried that she may end up with post-natal blues.

I beseech all you good people reading this post, to please say a prayer for the health of the baby, and strength for my coworker and his wife, as well as the situation in general.

I thank all of you on his behalf.

I will pray for their little one. This … unfortunately is a fairly common problem in infants.

Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to you with this little one. We ask that you comfort the troubled parents and heal the little baby. We place our sick in your care and humbly ask that you heal them. AMEN

The doctor says there might be other defects, but the baby is too small (1 week old) for the doctor to apply the equipment on him. So they can only wait and observe. Meanwhile, the baby has gone home with his parents. According to my coworker, they’ll have to bring the baby back to the hospital for follow-ups every 2 weeks.

Well, although the baby has not been cured, but at least he’s out of danger at the moment. That’s a relieve to hear.

Please continue to keep them in your prayers. Thank you, thank you!
