Prayers or Actions or Both

I recently was engaged in a discussion with some friends on the importance of prayers and actions. Part of the group believed you should pray for changes in the world, act in a Christian manner, and take action against that which you see as evil. The other members of the group believed prayer and living a good life was sufficient. After that it was a losing battle to take action against evil causes because evil will always be present until the end times.

What are your thoughts on this matter?

Well I would do both, never stop praying, pray for good things to happen and for the conversion of poor sinners.

Eventually prays will be answered takes time.

Thank you Saint Andrew. Definately, prayer is very powerful, and God is the guarantor of all changes which happen in the world. Only he can make a difference.
