Wow…I turn 16 in a couple of days. It feels so surreal to enter into this new stage of life. Being able to get a driver’s license, not being regarded as a child so much…

But also it brings lots of challenges. I’ll be more exposed to the bad things in life. I’ll have to maturely deal with those who are pro-abortion…or anti-Catholic. And as an ‘adult’, I’'ll be expected to deal with these situations maturely.

Please pray that I will never be tempted to leave the faith, no matter how hard life is, no matter how hopeless it seems. May I bring others in this confused world to our Catholic faith.

May I study and work hard, and may I succeed in accordance with God’s will. May I grow into a healthy, happy, mature young man.

I pray that God keeps you as one of His sheep. May He help you fight off any attacks you see (attacks against the reliability of the Scriptures, salvation being only through Jesus, etc). Amen.
