Prayers to know and follow my vocation

Hello everyone,

If I could ask for your prayers that I may know the vocation God intends for me and willingly follow it… I’m in my mid-twenties and I can see myself being either a religious or married, though I’m leaning more towards marriage. I prayed for this intention a few months ago and felt a strong want to be a mother and have a family. However, I;m on the fence once again and I’ve heard it’s better to discern out of religious life before I go about dating, but am unsure where to even start when it comes to the various religious orders.

I just want to know what the best path for me to grow in holiness is. Meanwhile, I shall do my best to live out my current state of life well.

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon abbap in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
    And, help her to bring this
    same Peace into the lives
    of others.
