Prayers to Overcome the Sin of Masturbation

Hello, I’ve been struggling with masturbation for over a year now. It usually happens when I wake up during the middle of the night (I pray that would stop happening). That’s mostly the only time I actually fall into the sin. I’ve been trying to sleep without a blanket so that the cold will keep me from having that temptation, but at times even that doesn’t work. So I would like to ask all of you to please pray for me, as well as for all of us who are struggling with some kind of sexual temptation. That we will be freed from that bondage.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.
