I never thought of prayer and fasting as something you did prior to an exciting Papal visit. I do some of each every week, but if the Pope is coming to my town, I see that as feast time, not fast time.
I would probably pray that the visit would go well, the Pope would stay safe, and that I’d get a good spot to see him go by.
