Praying for safety on 4th of July

Is there a particular saint that has some patronage in pyrotechnics or the prevention of doing ridiculously stupid things that I can use to help me in my prayers to protect people from dumb activities that people may partake in this holiday?

Is that even a real saint? No other site has any information on this saint, and after reading that website’s description, it seems almost like a joke.

I read a book on the history of fireworks. It stated that by 1876, the centennial of the USA, more people had been killed and maimed by fireworks and the use of gunpowder in celebrating, than had actually been killed or maimed during the revolution.

I live in a state where everything fireworks is legal. We can buy the big stuff and blow it off in our yards.

And we do like our fireworks…

I pray everyone excercise caution and have a safe holiday.

I went to morning Mass today and afterwards prayed a Rosary for America, our troops, soldiers, President and government leaders, as well as the repentance of American people. Our Mother Mary is the protector of us all the time.
