I believe in the power of prayer and that prayer is a huge part of Catholic Living.
Please join me in a prayer for those who are our enemies.

Jesus, Prince of Peace,
you have asked us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us.
We pray for our enemies and those who oppose us.
With the help of the Holy Spirit,
may all people learn to work together for that justice which brings true and lasting peace.
To You be glory and honor for ever and ever.”
Amen

Amen. The hardest part abut Christianity is that we are obligated to forgive others and pray for those who have wronged us.

It is harder today, thanks in part to those in this world who wish to divide us into tribes.
But through prayers, we shall overcome!

Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you was so easy when it was theoretical.

Then my world changed when someone antagonistically hurt my family, and I acquired an enemy.

To this day, every time I receive Our Lord in the Eucharist, I make my thanksgiving, and pray for members of my family, and pray for my enemy by name.

Every time.

And if it has been half as fruitful for him as it has been for me, he is truly blessed.

God bless you!
Actually, you are blessed because you have already figured things out.
