Hi,

I was just wondering if the the Orthodox Church in America has pre-marriage counselling like the Catholic Church does? The Catholic Church calls it Pre-Cana and the program varies from parish to parish. I had looked at the OCA website but was not able to find anything. Thanks for your responses.

Thank you for answering Joe!

How long does your pre-marriage counselling last? Or, how many times is one required to see the priest? Do couples fill out some kind of questionnaire or what have you? What exactly is involved in it? Do Orthodox priests refuse to marry couples at times as a result of the pre-marriage counselling?
