Predicament

Ey guys, getting straight to the point, im a civil engineering student been studying for 3 yrs, dont like it, failing grades, soo behind, and I think GOD is calling me to the priesthood.

Does anyone relate?

I think these are two separate issues. Being a civil engineer is not an impediment to entering the priesthood.

Are you meeting with a spiritual director (priest)? You’re praying a lot, right? If you’re getting such bad grades in your current field, are you sure that you’d be able to handle seminary? Remember: “Jesus, I trust in You!”

Have you talked to your pastor about this yet? Most dioceses have excellent programs in place to help people discern a call to the priesthood or religious life.
