I know mindreader, psychics, and wigi boards are all against Catholicism, but what about people who have random thoughts of events pop into their head and they come true? I have talked about this with my mom and she has the same thing happen to her, and same did her mom and her sister. The exact thing that happens is that you get all shivvery/goosebumps all over your body, and then a thought comes into your head- which is completely random and irrelevant to anything you were doing at the time. Then later, a couple of days maybe, you hear something on the news that happened and it is almost exactly the same as your thought.
here is an example of something that happened to my mom.
My brother has a roommate that that he lives with in college and my mom got that feeling/thought the Raplhs under my brothers apartment would catch on fire in the deli area of the store. Later that day, my brother called saying that his roommate had a lot of trouble getting a sandwich at the Ralphs deli, and that his house caught on fire that night.
This is just one example one that i had was
One night i was researching dreams coming true/ predicting the future and i was praying for this thought/feeling to happen because i hadnt had it in a while and the next day a girl in my class suddenly faints, but everybody thought she was having a seizure. everybody in the class had to leave the room and a girl who i knew was passing in the hallway when i left the room. i told her what had happened and she said that in her dream the night before, a girl had a seizure at school.
Basically, i want to know if this is a sin even though i cant control it and if this is God speaking to my mom and i or the devil. i asked my friend and friends parents who are extremely good catholics and very devout and they said its a gife from God.
