Premonitions????

Several years ago, I had a dream about an event that will happen with the Church and with it came attached a date. The date hasn’t passed yet, but I’m getting worried. I have passed it off as just a dream for the past few years as I don’t want to be superstitious, but now I’m worried that I should tell someone about it. Would God give someone a premonition like this?

Jesus himself said, “Your men will dream dreams.”

The charismatic renewal, supported by the Popes, experiences many of the Pentecost gifts.
Always: under subjection to the church’s decision (a priest or bishop as a spiritual director, because that’s the only way the saints knew whether their private revelations were genuine or from satan),

I am guessing that it requires no interpretation, however I may be able to help you discern the source.

That being said god gives dreams of warning to pray against them, but if you are convinced it is an important prophecy for the church you should pray on whether or not the warning should be shared with a priest or bishop.

Dreams with specific dates are rare and generally I would warn caution.

Dreams can have three sources. Your own soul or imagination, God, and evil.
