Some suggestions: I’d like to pop about $30 for a little birthday present for my wife.

Any suggestions?

What kinds of things does she like?

Does she like jewelry? Flowers? Candy?

Does she have any hobbies like reading, sewing, painting, gardening?

Do you have children at home? Maybe the best thing you could do for your wife is to have a dinner date without the children. Let them stay with a family member or friend for a couple of hours while you go out to eat. Or pay a responsible teen to do the job.

Something that shows that you know what here interests are and that you are relating to her about a subject she enjoys are best. Women like to be thought of personally so make sure the gift says “I really had you in mind when I got this.” 🙂

If your wife is a stay at home mom try this:
Hand her a cup of coffee in the morning. Tell her to have a nice day while you take the kids out. Tell her you’ll take care of dinner. Feed children before you get home or something easy after. Put them to bed. Have dinner with your wife. (make something, bring something home, whatever). Do the dishes.

Oh this sounds good. 🙂 👍

My husband did this once: Made me dinner. Wonderful! Came home from work, had table set, no disorder in the kitchen, just had me sit down and relax and served dinner. He found a receipe and did the whole thing on his own. You could do this for $30 and have money for a cake too.
