Priest needs to consume both body and blood?

Does the priest need to consume both the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass? Father didn’t today; he has a cold.
 
Dear Yinekka,

Sorry to hear that Father is under the weather. But he is OBLIGED to receive what he has offered and consecrated. When I was in a parish and had a cold, I would use a separate chalice for myself. He needs to do the same.
