Priest praying over someone who is sick

I heard that in some eastern churches, if someone is sick, it is customary for a priest to pray over him a special prayer for healing. Do you have this in the Catholic church? Is it customary for the priest to pray over those who are ill. I know you have unction of the sick, but I am not talking about that.

Also, can a non-Catholic receive this prayer?
 
What eastern churches? Orthodox? Eastern Catholic? Or do you mean eastern religions like buddhism, etc?
