I keep hearing about how the United States is being unfair and saying that illegals, EVEN PREISTS HELPING THEM, are breaking the law. I fully believe that illegals ARE breaking the law, HOWEVER, which priests are also supporting this? It seems like they are breaking the law and trying to undermine the greatest nation in the world. Since I hear bits and pieces from the msm, can somebody enlighten me as to what is going on in these situations?

There are no bills in front of the House or Senate that would make a good Samaritan a criminal.

There are bills that say if you assist someone in staying in the US illegally and violating the law, that you can be found in violation of the law yourself. But not if you assist someone who needs food, water, or medical assistance.

These priests should be arrested for helping illegal immigrants getting into the country illegally.

Okay, so, this is really going on and not just something the media is taking out of context or the priests themselves being illegal or from one of those excommunicated sects?

I don’t think any priests are working as coyotes, helping people get into the country illegally.
People are just overreacting.

We’re going to see more of this – gee, it reminds me of Martin Luther King’s day. Better think long and hard which side we want to be on: the legal side of abortion on demand, treating hispanics as second class citizens, consuming the majority of the world’s resources . . legal is not always moral.

Didn’t Christ get into trouble for flouting Jewish laws? Isn’t there some kind of holy day this week about that?

I disagree. I suspect there are a number of them.

I also disagee that this is equivalent to civil rights. A Mexican national does not have an inalienable right to be an American citizen. To blur the issue like that is not helping any.

Christ taught us to obey the law, not to break the law because we want more money or because we can get away with it.
