Dear all,

In the 1962 Divine Office, is the Prime required to to recited before the mass, or can be recited after the mass?

Depending on the rank of the liturgical day, Prime AND Terce would be recited before mass.

Sometimes Sext must be as well.

And theoretically, on Lenten Weekdays, after None.

This was observed more in the breach in the last 100 years or so.
