Hi. I was wondering if any of you know any catholic sites out there that allow
visitors to download images of icons for printing at home for free.

I know my question sounds really dumb and obvious but I had been wondering if you guys knew of any good sites out there that you use that allow free creative commons use of icons without paying for the rights to reproduce them. I really liked the BostonMonks site for icons. I already tried Google and some sites that provide stock photos but weren’t happy with what I found…sorry if you think my question was dumb and not worth your time…I am sorry for even asking then…I found one icon of Jesus that I liked but I just can’t seem to find one of Polycarp that I like…

For example, you need to spend $12 or more at restoredtraditions.com to download and print up their art for creative use otherwise it’s illegal…

Most Icons are free to print from online, no one really owns them. Of course, if there is a copyright on the photograph or a signature on the image (of art, in an icon-like form) then ask permission.
