You would clearly have bigger problems of trust if this is happening.well, what you describe sounds fine.
but I think there are bigger problems if I am suddenly being asked for my passwords out of the blue. like other have mentioned, if one spouse feels the need to constantly check through the others messages, there are issues
For the record, I do check my husband’s email. Usually it’s for one of two reasons:
One, he is busy doing something around the house or doing something with the kids and I happen to have a second to check my email…I’ll check his too and let him know if anything pops up.
Two, he’s working and needs to tell me something. He’ll send me an email from his work desk to his civilian email. They aren’t allowed to have cell phones with them.
I’ve never kept a password from my husband…nor has he kept one from me. It’s hard to explain why, I guess.
Our lives are so entangled with each other that it isn’t practical to keep passwords from each other anyway.
We share all of our electronic devices, bank accounts and we have the same site for pay stubs and our retirement because we are both in the military.
So, completely impractical to keep passwords from each other.
