So would it be safer to just disregard these apparitions? Where I live, there is a large number of Catholics who believe all of these apparitions…every one of them. I have no idea how to discern them.

Which apparitions did Mary say that Calvinists were the true church? Aren’t there exorcism prayers a priest could say at these sites and find out once and for all?

I recently heard that Mary at Medjegorje said that her favorite song was The Battle Hymn of the Republic. WHY would the Queen of Peace have a battle hymn as her favorite song? Everyone in this church group thought this sounded great but I thought it sounded ever so wrong.

Ok, hawkeye, I patiently watched the whole thing. ( Wished i could fast forward to the spot!).

I see what you mean about her talking non-stop and not wanting to answer questions. By the time she was finished, there wasn’t much time for questions. She certainly seems happy 😃 Smiles constantly. I have seen video when she was younger and she always seems to be smiling, even during her conversations with Mary. I did see one video of her when someone flicked their hands in her face during an apparition and she reacted to it. Then later said she thought that Mary was dropping the baby Jesus, which is why she moved. That is when I started to doubt, God forgive me if I am wrong. The fact that their original spiritual advisor was defrocked is also unsettling.

I have read where the vatican has said that no priest can lead a pilgrimage there, but today I saw another book about Medjegorje and it stated the opposite. I wish the Vatican would hurry up investigate this and make a decision and make it loud and clear. What will happen if they say it isn’t happening? How will believers react?

That’s what they do, they leave you with an un-holy fear of God, and a sense of guilt and fear,as if God will strike you down for having a brain to think…

Doesn’t matter if we can or cannot lead a pilgrimage there, it isn’t paramount to our faith, Calvary is. Make a pilgrimage to Mass if you want, you don’t have to goto Medjugorje, if you do have to goto a shrine to fill the void of faith in your life, then Mass means nothing to you…and youv’e missed the point (the plot)

Like Bayside they will be in denial, cause we as a people with natural desires for the physical, lose the spiritual.
If they had the spiritual in the first place, then they wouldn’t go looking for the physical evidence of this world.
I don’t blame them though, and even if Medjugorje is true, doesn’t mean a thing, Mass is the most important event to attend, and we don’t have to re-mortgage our house to get there…

Well it was on RTE Player, to fast forward on any player all you have to do is move the hand symbol along to the desired spot, and double click…

Thanks 😃 this brought tears to my eyes, LOL, over the Magnificat and the numerous Hymns in the Church, the Battle Hymn of the Republic is Mary’s favourite…? oh boy I made a big mistake, i’m now a firm believer in this place :rolleyes: NOT !!!
 
I feel sad I almost got sucked in to the Barnabas revelations as I innocently bought a book at the Catholic bookshop called Devotion to the most precious blood of Jesus, it’s got an Imprimatur and Nihil obstat… But I had no idea it was based on someone’s revelations 😦 sad
