This paragraph in the article by Father Landry in the National Catholic Register caught my attention. The article quotes these words from a book, by a priest but I wonder if his words also convey thoughts in the hearts of the Laity as well? I was happy to read these words for it has been a painful experience to see so little attention paid to Mary, by some clergy. I pray for them every day, for if it can wound my heart, how much more does it wound the hearts of the Holy Family.… To enter into friendship with Jesus means to enter, he notes, into a “privileged and sweet relationship with my Mother,” imitating the relationship both St. Joseph and St. John had with her. “The great renewal of the priesthood in my Church will begin when priests understand that I want them to live in the company of my Immaculate Mother.” He wants us to each pray the Rosary and the Ave Maria Stella and to entrust our lives and needs to her, both big and small…"
