Pro-Abortion Activist to Head Democratic Party for Obama Re-Election

Washington, DC – Leaders of the national Democratic Party on Wednesday unanimously elected Florida congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz as the new chair of the Democratic National Committee. The pro-abortion stalwart will lead the party during President Barack Obama’s re-election.

She is also the one who supported the hate crime legislation for protecting gay people, but not for members of the armed forces. That was right after a soldier was killed at a recruiting center in Alabama, clearly in a hate crime, only because he wore an uniform. Yet congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz rejected the proposal to extend the umbrella of protection to members of the armed forces. She does care about protecting gays, but not our men and women in uniform. I guess she is well suited for a leadership position in the Democratic Party.
