Hi all,

I know that when I learned about abortion and its beginning in this country (Roe v. Wade :() that for a time there was only one side: pro-death. But after a little while, pro-lifers came out of the woodwork and the pro-life movement began.

Now, and maybe this is just me, I’m seeing parallels between the aftermath of Roe v. Wade and the reaction to the actions of Bishops. For example, if a Bishop denies a ‘Catholic’ politician the Eucharist he gets so much negative press; there’s hardly anyone there to support him it feels like.

So really, what I’m asking is: is there a pro-Bishop movement? Are there people who give positive press to these Bishops (in a similar way to pro-lifers)?

If there’s not, maybe we should start this pro-Bishop movement (I have my own ideas for this)

I am not sure what you mean by this statement. There was an organized pro-life movement long before Roe v. Wade in the US. In fact, it was the pro-life laws in the state of Texas that prompted the whole R v. W case going to the Supreme Court. Before R v. W, the movement was mostly focused on preventing legalized abortion from spreading to pro-life states.

Hmmmmm then I guess the video I saw was a little off 😛

Pro Bishop? Heck yes. My blood starts to boil when I see Pelosi getting Communion.

See this is the thing. Individuals may support the Bishop(s), but that support is not expressed publicly. A shame if you ask me.
