Pro-choice puritanism is Cultural Marxist social justice to the extreme. They really want to promote the culture of death.

The new orthodoxy, the state religion, is that abortion is a positive good.
The problem is, the state never admits to giving the “god” of this state religion a name - so it passes under the radar as far as ever being classified as a religion, per se. But it has all the characteristics that would make Jefferson shudder in his grave - particularly on how they wield his “wall of separation” clause/metaphor, as their Credo.

In his New Year’s note to Lincoln , Jefferson had revealed that the intention/hope of his reply to the Danbury Baptists was partly motivated by his disagreeing with the idea of state proclaimed fasts and acts of thanksgiving, and partly motivated by his intention to issue a “condemnation of the alliance between church and state.” Yet, now, the state has become the church . . .so where do we place the wall ? One fitting name for the god of the state religion, would be Sexual Promiscuity, yet the Pro Choice Puritans use all the legislative, coercive and sophistic power within their means to ensure that everyone under their feet call this god Freedom instead:
Freedom”, but strangely not religious Freedom, nor Freedom of thought, nor Freedom of speech, and definitely not Freedom of conscience . . . :hmmm:
The only way to make the fantasy ideology appear to be true is to downplay contraceptive failure and the medical risks, psychological problems, or plain unhappiness that sometimes arise from abortion.
I know more than a few women who unfortunately went down the path of abortion, and of these, I would hesitate to say that psychological problems “sometimes” arise from abortions - a gaping psychological wound is opened in the mother every time she undergoes an abortion. It is more that these wounds are not so easy to detect because they are suppressed. . . for a while . . .until they resurface. . . only to be suppressed again. Simply because someone appears to function in society, does not mean that there aren’t any underlying serious psychological wounds in their lives.

The memory of abortion haunts both mothers and fathers of aborted children personally, but when that happens, and anyone tries to bring it to the state god’s attention , the state does something which closely resembles this:

This culture of death, with abortion, euthanasia, and now with the Human Extinction Movement, seems aimed at eradicating humans starting with the most vulnerable, unborn babies, the elderly and the disabled.

I wonder who is behind this? (In Church Lady voice)

Could it be Satan?

California seems to be full of pro-choice Puritans. The legislature passed a bill regulating what pro-life pregnancy care centers may say, and how loudly they may say it. Pregnancy care centers in California are required to post the fact that abortion is available elsewhere. The state regulates where such signage must be located and how large the typeface must be. (quote from article)

The above is absolutely ridiculous. They are trying to regulate those Pregnancy care centers right out of business.

“. . . pro-choice Puritans are haunted by the thought that some woman, somewhere, wants to keep her baby—and must be stopped.”
That’s just crazy. Are they serious? If the only “choice” is to kill, and not to be a mother, then where is the “choice”? Choice involves at least two options, not just one. They are crazy. And in strong need of a few rosaries.

My friend who was pregnant when she was in school was harassed by her pro choice friends. both men and women.

They said stuff like “why do you want to keep the child” “why can’t you just abort” “you don’t have enough money” “you will suffer”. They were really bothered that a knocked up teenager, not being pressured by anyone, wants to keep her baby.

Quite scary in my opinion.

They like to call us “anti choice” instead of ‘pro life’ because ‘pro life’ makes us sound like good people…but why can’t we call them “anti life” or “pro abortion”?

I was watching a video about women talking about how sad they were when they found out they couldn’t have babies. Comments were filled with “offended” people, because how dare a woman wants a child, amirite?

The people that fight for free or cheap contraception are “puritans” too. You can keep your genitals in your underwear, sex is fun, but you can survive without it. Cannot afford contraception? Abstain. You will survive.

Was talking to a woman the other day. Pro choice and all. She was bringing up the issue of unwanted teen pregnancies and how they should be allowed to abort. Then in the same breath she talked about how teenagers should be taught about sex properly, how they should not feel ashamed for having it. Told her if a teen wants to have a baby later in life, she should have sex later in life. Schools should talk about abstinence and all that. She then said “teaching abstinence doesn’t work, I was pregnant when I was 15”. I then told her that yes, she was pregnant because she did not abstain.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

There are just no words for it, really. It is just uncivilized, callous, and selfish. No thought at all to the child. The horrific violence done to these preborn children couldn’t be more accepted and glorified. Why do their rights have to be constantly and so carelessly trampled on, when they had no consent at all to coming into the womb? I hardly sympathize with someone who says their life is “ruined” because they are going to have a baby. Well, dear, think about it. It was your body and your choice before that child came into being, and now there is another body, a very tiny one, and that little one has every right to live, regardless of twisted political loopholes and excuses. Have they ever seen, really seen pictures of these massacred children lying around in heaps, all torn up and some even left to die? I have seen this. There was a severely burnt girl fetus, and it took a perfect stranger who hadn’t even known her to feel for her, gather her out of the dumpster where she had been left, wash her, and give her a decent burial in a miniature casket.
In the case of your friend, instead of trying to help her, and tell her she is a good mother, and tell her how precious the little one inside of her is because she is a part of her, they ask her why she doesn’t want to kill her. Isn’t that just so beautiful. Is letting a child not end up like that burnt little girl in the trash that awful of a thing? Really.

They like to call us “anti choice”
They twist anything into the most vicious lie.
Only one thing for me, at least, comes to mind when a “choice” is involved with intimacy.
Legs closed.
