I am wondering - are there more pro-life people who are converts to the Church or are pro-life people mainly cradle Catholics? Opinions, anyone?

I was pro-life as a SoBap before my journey to Rome, and as a Pentecostal before that. During my pagan years (that’s with a small “p”) I was pro-contraception, but even then I was against abortion.

cradle Catholic, but not always a cradle pro-lifer. I’m a convert to that. 🙂
What can I say? I bought the feminist rhetoric for a long time.

Cradle Catholic, Cradle Pro-Life but not fully confident when challenged with one-sided lies given by University Professors in College. This drove me to really look into the issue and find out the truth. Now totally fully confident Pro-Lifer.

I converted when I was 18 (I’m now 32) and I have been pro-life since, but I have only been against contraception for about 41/2 years now. I grew up with zero religion of any kind in my home and I too bought the pro-choice rhetoric until I met my husband at the age of 17.

Cradle Catholic and was brought to the truth 25 years ago through a book by John Powell “Abortion the Silent Holocaust” I literally had insomnia for 2 nights after reading it.:bigyikes:

Convert from atheism and bought the feminist lines hook line and sinker, Praise God He brought me home to Rome. 👍

To think that I actually believed that pro-death(choice) junk

Pray for the reversal of Roe v Wade

Revert to the Faith…but before that I was ignorant and thought Pro Choice was fair and the right thing to be…until I decided to educate myself…like most, I was lazy and relied on the UNFORMED thoughts and opinions of those who had ZERO FAITH in Religion period.

Ditto!

A quote from Paul Simon will serve me well:
When I look back on all the **** I learned in high school
It’s a wonder I can think at all.
And that was a *Catholic * high school, mind you. 1976-79.

I’ve been anti-abortion my whole life. But I was pro-contraception until I convereted (in 2000). I also did not realize how many forms of contraception are really just abortions (pill, IUD, the patch, etc…)

I’m a convert to the Catholic faith from my fallen away Catholic mother. I also didn’t inheret my pro-life position from her, although I must say I have been pro-life long before I became Catholic, even Christian.

I wasn’t raised in a terribly religious home and didn’t get serious about practicing my faith til I started college, so in that sense I’m kind of a convert. I’ve been pro-life from the first time I learned what abortion was.

Pro-life convert, but was at one point pro-contraception. Have always been anti-abortion though.
