Greetings!

I’m actually looking for a bit of help. I’m currently working for the New York State Department of Unemployment, and without getting into the long story, have been informed I must carry healthcare insurance for my daughter that does not live with me. The problem I’m having is that all the policies available support abortion on demand, and cover “birth control” under the guise of “Reproductive Care”. I’m also looked down upon because I refuse to join the CSEA union that supports homosexual marriages, abortion, and steam cell reserch.

How do others deal with this situation? Does anyone know where I could find an insurance carrier that supports a pro-life stance in New York? I’ve been looking for some time.

In His Peace!

Thanks so much for the information. I’ve recieved information about Fidelis in the past. I agree with you about the USCCB. When I asked about who the local diocese uses for a health care provider, I was told that only the local HMO’s were available. I was also informed that many were “self insured” …

I’ll continue to search and and let you know if I find anything.

In His Peace!

Do the folks at Catholic Answers have a Pro-Life Heathcare Policy?
