And of course we should never forget the time though World Health Organization propose that families should be separated and broken up forcefully.

And, don’t forget these catastrophic errors by the WHO:

The World Health Organization (WHO) is now haunted by a tweet it sent earlier this year when it cited Chinese health officials who claimed there had been no human transmissions of the novel coronavirus within the country yet.
The Jan. 14 tweet came less than two months before WHO declared COVID-19 to be a global pandemic.
“Preliminary investigations conducted by the Chinese authorities have found no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel #coronavirus (2019-nCoV) identified in #Wuhan, #China,” the organization had said.
It also relied on information from Chinese health authorities who have been accused of obscuring facts and figures during the course of the outbreak.

World Health Organization Stopped Medical Experts from Recommending Coronavirus Travel Bans World News
President Trump’s travel bans on China and Iran have been critically effective in ensuring that Chinese nationals, Iranian nationals, and recent foreign travelers to each of the two countries are not allowed into the interior of the United States in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. On January 31, Trump announced a travel ban on Chinese nationals and foreign travelers who had visited China within the last 14 days. About a month later, while China failed to contain the coronavirus, Trum…

I fear that the President’s defunding of WHO will be twisted by his detractors to make it look like he is “anti-world-health”. Christians will find all the examples where WHO has done good things, and claim that these negate the anti-life/anti-family actions of WHO.

Looks like there’s something we agree on. This already happens in other countries and I’m terrified of it coming to the USA. Raiding homes and arresting the sick, taking them away from the care and comfort of their loved ones and locking them up to be “cared for” by doctor-jailers. There’s no dignified way to drag a law-abiding citizen out of their home.

It is not “haunted”, except by those on the far right who hate everything associated with the UN. The WHO reported what it knew at the time, and revised it when new information came to light.

It’s a good thing that President Trump didn’t listen to the WHO. His January 31st travel ban of foreigners from China saved countless lives.

Say rather that those measures saved an unknown number of lives. Which is also countless, since you can’t count what you don’t know.

Can you count how many lives limited travel bans within certain states has saved? And if not, do you then also oppose these restrictions?

I don’t oppose them, and I don’t oppose Trump’s travel ban either. It came with zero cost to us, so it was a reasonable measure to take, even if we are not sure how many lives it would save. I just object to declaring as a fact something we don’t know.

“One of the things we did right was very early cut off travel from China to the United States,” Fauci told MSNBC last week. “Because outside of China, where it originated, the countries in the world that have it are through travel, either directly from China or indirectly from someone who went someplace and then came to that particular country. Our shutting off travel from China and, more recently, travel from Europe, has gone a long way to not seeding very, very intensively the virus in our country.”

As I said it was a no-risk low-hanging fruit. It was not especially bold or insightful. Too bad Trump had to ruin it by the indecisive inaction that followed.

So the US will have no idea when the next pandemic is coming.

Can someone here define what “pro life” means. From where I’m sitting the only thing it actually means is “Republican”.

As Tucker Carlson pointed out, “how absurd it was to follow the WHO, (who) has been wrong about the pandemic from the start, at first reassuring people there was no human-to-human transmission, that travel shouldn’t be restrict, then saying face masks don’t work.”

then saying face masks don’t work.”
They don’t for reasons I’ve stated recently before. So I’m going to repeat myself very specifically;

Only masks rated for virus can block you from inhaling it from the infected in your environment.
Such masks are in limited supply. Supply you don’t have the luxury to squander on every Tom, Dick and Harry that goes to the bank.
Other masks (mostly the homemade ones) prevent the wearer from breathing vapor filling with whatever on others.
This means it only helps sick people.
All of which it moot if people social distance.
Which they dont, because things like #scamdemic are trending.

Ergo it’s easier for the good doctors to just throw hands in the air and say “have your damned masks. You don’t listen to anything else.”
