Pro-Life Students Take Vow of Silence Tomorrow to Highlight Abortion

Washington, DC – Tens of thousands of pro-life students in high schools, middle schools and colleges and universities across the country will take a vow of silence tomorrow. They will refuse to speak to their friends and teachers because they are representing the voices of millions of unborn children killed in abortions.

Interesting choice of time and place to protest. As long as they are really doing it for babies and not to upset their teachers or get out of participating in educational exercises. Sometimes things like this do more harm than good if it’s not done for the right reasons.

Now THIS is the proper, decent, and wonderful way to engage in social protest. These students aaren’t being loud, distrupting other peoples days, or just downright being rude or selfish.

The GLBT community does have a good idea from time to time . Not suggesting the Day of Silence necessarily originated with the GLSEN (I don’t know), but they have been doing it for 14 years (right down to the tape over the mouths and arm bands).
