If you are voting for someone with a public record you should check out their voting records. They are public.
If you are voting for local candidates then you might have to go to a meeting and ask them their stand in public. Even if they are running for “dog catcher” you need to know. They may have aspirations for further office. Once they have been elected to one office it is much easier for them (anti-life) to get elected a second or third time etc. Many voters go by the fact that someone has been in public office and just vote that way. We are not all informed well.
