You might get better results with asking the diocese for a mediator in these employment situations. The employees could also make a complaint to the diocese but also to the eeo about harassing practices at work - accusing employees of theft and making them pay for replacement workers on their days off. In other words, the complaints you list are all employee issues and not questions about how the priest functions as a priest.

I am pleased to hear that all those who left have since gotten other jobs. I hope the personality issues with the priest and parish employees can be resolved.

None of those things are essential.
A welcoming parish is essential for me. I need to worship where others at at least trying to live the faith. I would never leave the church, I would just find another parish:)

Well, obviously things like the liturgy are essential. Maybe I misspoke. Maybe you did to when you accuse people who aren’t welcoming to you in your opinion as not even trying to live the faith.

All that aside, I find this thread inappropriate. Do we really need a complain about your parish thread? It just seems highly distasteful and unproductive.

This is a distasteful thread. Just gripes and complaints about the parish and pastors. Since complaint threads are forbidden in the L&S forum, it looks like they’ve landed here.

What does any of this have to do with Spirituality? Is any of it uplifting, contributing to one’s growth in the spiritual life? Did the Saints act like this?

Blech.
