Continuing the discussion from Sex 12x a year?:
Really? Do they only say you’re infertile during the days after ovulation?
No. Creighton has green sticker days before ovulation also. But a day with bleeding is not a green sticker day. You cannot observe mucus in the presence of menstrual fluids, and can therefore miss signs of a short prepeak phase (called phase one in STM).

I know people this happened to. So yeah, it’s a thing.

In STM they have a first five day or first three day rule, but only if you had a temp shift more than X days before the end of the last cycle and if you have a certain history/pattern.

I don’t really trust that, as I’ve seen one of my friends have an early fertile phase with mucus masked by other fluids.

In Creighton instruction, red days are days you avoid if you are TTA. They are considered fertile days because you cannot observe mucus those days.
