Program on EWTN disproving atheism?

Hey there…I’m just wondering if anyone here might know where I can find a link to or a copy of this video I saw on EWTN a while ago. It had some priests and I think some Jewish Rabbis discussing why atheism is not valid. They had a guest (can’t remember his name) who was either one of the founders or the founder of atheism from the 1970s taking back what he had said in the past in light of new scientific research. If you have any idea what I’m talking about let me know. Thanks

Do you mean Professor Antony Flew? I haven’t seen the show you are referring to, but I have heard of this man once being a prominent atheist. Any strong inductive argument can be considered a “proof” in a loose sense of the word. The thing is such proofs are never conclusive, and there are always counter arguments.
So the argument from design like from the DNA as a code “prove” the existence of God, but not with deductive certainty. I think that the proofs in the video will be inductive, philosophical arguments. If they are deductive they will most likely be based on controversial definitions or premises.

I think you mean they felt they had a better argument, not that they proved anything. And, their idea of having a better argument, is arguable.
