Are there any other Project Runway fans at Catholic Answers? What do you think of the show? Who is your favorite designer?

I got sucked in the other day. I was home sick from work and they were showing several episodes in a row. It was pretty fun. One thing I don’t understand is why that Santino guy is still there. I guess he fits into the “make clothes that look wierd on the runway that no one in real life would wear or be able to afford” category that much of fashion does. I think my favorite had been Emmit, but he’s gone now.

Got sucked in also! while lying on the couch sick. I agree, That Santino guy is just too far out there. No one could possibly wear that stuff! He glues feathers and ragged bits of cloth on everything.

Guiltily, I admit it. Since the Holy Spirit has made it impossible for me to watch anything but the FoodNetwork, I am surprised I have managed to hang in there with this one. Perhaps because I watch it with my daughter-in-law each week.

Santino is still on for the same reason that Wendy was kept on last season - to keep the viewer enraged. And watching week after week.

Did anyone see the the “gay” Orbitz commercial they showed during the show this past week?

I absolutely love this show!!! I like the temperamental guy designer …oh what is his name? Santino? He is good and willing to defend his views even though I didn’t like his mistake of throwing his co-contestant to the wolves…I do think he was humbled by that one.
