Proof of Reincarnation from clinical death?

Hi friends

My mother in law is supporter of reincarnation.I showed her biblical verses against it,but she claims many people who experienced “clinical death” told about stories from few hundreds years or more ,from places where they have never been in such a detail that she says it supports the idea that these people`s souls lived in the bodies of persons in the past. She told me to read a book of psychologist Raymond Moody who is known for his book Life After Life where he brings this stories of people who were talking where detailed and precise historic or geographic facts that are difficult to be understood. She asks me: How is this possible? I could tell her my opinion about such medical cases and about the work of prof. Moody.Please if you can help me how to explain her that reincarnation has nothing to do with science,please ,help me.

There is a very good book on this subject by the late Orthodox hieromonk Fr. Seraphim Rose entitled THE SOUL AFTER DEATH, which deals with this issue from an Orthodox perspective.

In it, he says that such experiences have NOT been visions of the World to Come, but rather the invisible part of this world, which is the habitation of demons, and therefore any experience with it would have deception (with an agenda) bound up with it.

Whether it’s called the Astral Plane, or the Bardo Plane, or the Underheaven, it’s still the realm of demons who intend to steal, kill, and destroy.

(Haven’t you noticed that there’s NOTHING about judgement or accountability for our actions in any of reincarnationist literature?)
