Its more like, we are tolerant as long as you believe exactly in what we believe, any deviation whatsoever makes you an “infidel, backstabber, filthy kaffir sickos” unable to carry on an intelligent conversation

Oh, and another thing - and you aren’t being asked to ‘answer’ for this, but we find that in most cases a Moslem, when questioned about something will try to change topic or go for the *tu quoque *fallacy

It’s all part of Moslems way of ‘advertising’ their faith as one of logical thought/peaceful discussion. 👍

What really gets me, is the silence from what I think of as the “Greek chorus” of non-Muslim defenders of Islam on these forums who accuse me and other detractors of Islam of being hatemongers, who have had nothing to say about the venomous posts made by Tawheed! Very Telling!

please, do not repeat the same Quranic mistake. Muhammad used the title “Nasara” to both orthodox Christians and heretics. This is a historical mistake because Nasara were NOT orthodox Christians.Nasara are Nasara and Christians are Masihiyyeen. Bahira is recorded to be a heretic. Waraqa Ben Nawfal and his cousin Khadija who influenced Muhammad’s mission were heretics as well, most probably Ebionites. So please do not say Christians, say Nasara.
 
As to why Christians , and i personally, do not believe he was a prophet or had anything to do with God is that , to me, he is another Joseph Smith.

The NT and Jesus is clear. Any prophet to come after Jesus will be sent BY Jesus, and will preach the SAME gospel. Muhammad does not fit.

what does Muhammad teach?

Gnostic interpretation of the crucifixion.

Holy Spirit is a created angel : Arianism

Jesus talking in the craddle and other legendary passages: apocrypha

Who kills one soul is as if he killed all humanity : rabbinical interpretation.

Cave sleepers : Christian legend.

Jesus is the physical son of God?

Trinity is 3 gods?

Mary a deity?

God does not preserve His Word?

God abrogates his words every now and then?

No further elaboration. God does not get things wrong. God does not teach Arianism or Gnosticism. God did not inspire the apocrypha and legends are surely not the literal word of God.

This is the theological point of view. Talking about his life, i’d expect a true prophet sent by Jesus to resemble His disciples: no killings, no wars,no booties and stealing, no polygamy and women for sexual pleasures, no temporary adultery called marriage.

What Muhammad brought is nothing new. Everything in the Quran is traced back to a source be it divine or legendary or heretic. He mixed truth with what he thought he understood about previous scriptures and how limited his understanding was.

He was persecuted? many were and were not prophets.Politicians are bein killed everyday yet they still want fame, money , power and sex all of which Muhammad got, unlike any of Jesus’ disciples or Jesus Himself. What more does a man need.
