Hello I was wondering if anyone from the Old Testament are saints (Moses, Abraham, King David, Joshua, Ruth, etc)? If not, why aren’t they?
Indeed they are; e.g, the Feast of the Prophet Elijah is July 20th. These feasts or memorials are more readily seen, though, among Catholics of the Eastern rites of the Church and among the Orthodox.Hello I was wondering if anyone from the Old Testament are saints (Moses, Abraham, King David, Joshua, Ruth, etc)? They are saint and there are Masses for them but only in local calendars. I have quite a few Mass Propers for OT saints from the older form (pre-62) of the Mass, and some Mass Propers for OT saints in English.Hello I was wondering if anyone from the Old Testament are saints (Moses, Abraham, King David, Joshua, Ruth, etc)?
