Hello I was wondering if anyone from the Old Testament are saints (Moses, Abraham, King David, Joshua, Ruth, etc)? If not, why aren’t they?

Indeed they are; e.g, the Feast of the Prophet Elijah is July 20th. These feasts or memorials are more readily seen, though, among Catholics of the Eastern rites of the Church and among the Orthodox.Hello I was wondering if anyone from the Old Testament are saints (Moses, Abraham, King David, Joshua, Ruth, etc)? In the Martyrologium I found
Moyses = 9-4, King David = 12-29, Isaias = 7-6, Jeremias = 5-1, Ezechiel = 4-10, Daniel = 7-21.
Only the Machabei martyrs have commemoration in the traditional office and Mass on 8-1

The Eastern Churches have a long tradition of veneration of the Old Testament Patriarchs and Prophets.
But the Ethiopian Church outdoes everyone on this score! Their feast of Sts Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is a national feast day in September (I believe that is the month).
The feast of the Maccabean Martyrs is an important feastday in the Ukrainian/Kyivan Church. On this day, poppyseeds are blessed (“Mak” means “poppyseeds” and because it is associated with “MAK-ovey”). These poppyseeds are then kept for the special dish called the “kytiya” for Nativity Eve in January.
They are also venerated as patrons of fasting since they died for the Mosaic Fast.
The Prophet Elias is likewise an important feast in the Ukrainian Church since his cultus supplanted that of a pagan god in ancient times. Candles are blessed on his feastday and these are lit in the homes whenever lightning storms occur or whenever someone is dying in the home.

They are saint and there are Masses for them but only in local calendars. I have quite a few Mass Propers for OT saints from the older form (pre-62) of the Mass, and some Mass Propers for OT saints in English.Hello I was wondering if anyone from the Old Testament are saints (Moses, Abraham, King David, Joshua, Ruth, etc)?
