Javier, see if you can get your hands on a copy of Scott Hahn’s video The Fourth Cup and have your wife watch it with you after the pseudo-Seder. He teaches the significance of the Seder meal along with everything that happened at the Last Supper. And he comes at it from a very Jewish viewpoint. He studied the Passover from Jewish teachers and studied the Bible accounts of the Last Supper to understand the significance of everything Jesus did and said during that celebration.

Years ago at my church in Illinois (Presbyterian), we had a jewish convert to Christianity (an ex-rabbi) in to do a seder meal for us on Maundy Thursday. He instructed us as to what foods, etc., to have, and then he explained in detail the the whole Passover meal and the meaning of all the elements. It was very interesting. He explained that as far as we know, this was exactly what the Last Supper was. It came off as very Christian instead of jewish…Roanoker

I just want to clarify–I did NOT attend Seder Suppers. I attended Seder Supper programs produced and presented by Jews for Jesus, which is a missionary group based here in the U.S. The Seder Supper program was strictly a history lesson.

The “seder supper” that I attended at my Catholic Bible study was a little more homemade. They followed a sheet with instructions that had Christian meditations. It was not very deep or intellectual, but it was certainly touching.
