Speaking personally, I’ve been attending a “more Catholic” parish that’s a bus ride across the park from the parish two blocks away from me (my parish) which is sometimes too ‘loose’ for me. Don’t get me wrong, the priests there are good and the parishioners are dear people. But I don’t get what I need there. With the other parish (the one that’s harder to get to) I feel inspired, spiritually nourished.
I haven’t been going to my parish unless the weather is bad or I don’t feel up to the bus ride.
