I’m tempted to vote for Satan but that would be lying and I already have to make a trip to the confessional. Some protestants are defiently under the influence of satan or pure ignorence, but so are some catholics.

We are all brothers and sisters in Christ.

That is why I wished the poster had changed to “Protestantism” instead of “protestants”. Whichever way, I knew people get upset; however, it is not the people that I wanted to point out the error, but it is the system.

I don’t know about the other protestants on this site but I am THOROUGHLY sick of having my beliefs labeled as being led by Satan or the Evil One… *sigh…

I DO NOT FOLLOW SATAN NOR DOES HE HAVE A HOLD ON ANYTHING I BELIEVE… GOD IS MY ROCK, MY SOUL, AND MY LOVE. ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING I DO AND BELIEVE IS FOR HIM!

*pant pant…

Did I make that clear enough? Or should I remind you how hurt you feel and frustrated you get when a protestant comes in and tells you that you worship the dead and your pope is the anti-christ?
Those of you who know me as well as SinginBeauty does will know very well what I mean by this.

She is one of the most kind and dearest n-C sisters I have had the grace from God to encounter.

Are there some individuals that I think have gone over to the other camp? Certainly, Westboro Baptist is one, there’s a whacko street preacher in NW Fl that I pray I never meat in person, and I’m pretty sure that Jack Chick isn’t what he plays at being. 🤷

MOST of the n-Cs I have met have not been bad people at all. Some few are raging maniacs that I keep expecting to find wandering in a cemetery, cutting themselves with sharp stones, and howling at the moon.:bigyikes: But they’re the exception and not the rule. (I even know a few Catholics who are about as bad, so…)

Let’s try to be charitable and Christ-like guys…even when we disagree.

????

I am not accusing anyone of being led by Satan… this thread is hopefully going to get a few people to STOP doing that to protestants… Hopefully!

I am protestant and am VERY tired of hearing that protestants are led by Satan… I admit this thread is a reaction to such an accusation but it needed to be said…:o
Sorry, I think I misread.

I did not vote on this thread. The Council of Trent itself declared that baptisms done by Protestants are indeed valid.

Being a Protestant though you can never be sure, which interpretation of any verse of Scripture is correct.

I would not say that the Protestants of today are “being led by Satan”, but the leaders of the Protestant Reformation most definitely were, even though they believed in their whole heart they were doing good.
