Doctrinal development…no. A true return to the original Church 🙂

Prayers and petitions,
Alexius:cool:

Why does everyone here pigeonhole all Protestants as thinking images/icons are “graven images.” It’s like people painting all Catholics as “Mary Worshippers.”

Good grief. Some of us already “got it.”

I don’t want to hear anymore folks on this board talk about Catholic bashing.

I posted a link to a mainstream protestant publication to an article about the actions of one Reformed pastor. according to forum rules the title of the aricle (truncated to fit) is the title of the thread. I invited comments. Exactly how does that equal bashing?

You could start a debate among Protestants if you asked them if Christianity Today was “mainstream.”

The link was great. I guess Manny’s “They’re finally getting it” was a bit uncharitable to me.

I’ll get over it.

When I wrote it, it was not intended to offend, but the fact is that there are some Protestants who are misinformed concerning Holy images. Some don’t get it, and there are those who do get it.

Oh the side note, I am sorry if my words were offensive for you.

May the Lord be with you.

Thats interesting. Pity the SDA do not know that. I regularly get emails from SDA and SDA sponsored bodies reminding me of 'the error of m ways 😉

the article cited did not refer to SDA, it refered to a Reform pastor, so it might be more interesting to discuss the actual article.
