Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good study guide for the Psalms. I’m reading Merton’s Bread in the Wilderness but would appreciate a guide through the individual Psalms.
Thanks,
God bless,
Dave

Hi Dave

The best I’ve come across is St Augustine’s Expositions on the Psalms. They’re basically a commentary, the only complete one on the Psalms in the Fathers, according to EWTN: ewtn.com/vlibrary/search2.asp?pgnu=10&version=TXT&fldlibrary=PATRISTC&afterdate=&author=&keyword=&code=&search_type=contains&recentadd=. Other translations are also freely available online if you Google. The translations are a bit archaic. I don’t know of a more up to date one. Maybe you can read Latin! I wish I could.

Enjoy it,

Tybourne
