I have purchased a number of copies of Crystalina Evert’s excellent resource, Pure Womanhood, and have given them out to my older daughters, and my older nieces. (14-22)
I have a few copies left and wanted some feedback:
What do you think the minimum age would be to give out these to? I am a Girls Scout leader to a small troop of 10-11 year olds, and know that sexual activity can start SOOO early. I was thinking about disctributing these to the girls as part of badge work on “It’s Important to Me” - about what we value or as part of our “Healthy Relationships” badge.
Do you think the girls are too young? I would, of course, let the parents know we would be discussing this prior to presenting it to the girls.
I hope, being that my troop is at a Catholic School, that the morality being presented woudl not be a problem for the parents. But this is a very honest presentation, and I worry about the content being “mature” for my girls.
Thanks!
