I came across this description of an upcoming film comedy called “Pushers Needed” which is slated for release sometime this year:
*"The story of a group of harried, working class housewives who win a trip to Lourdes and embark on an adventure that will change their lives - leaving behind their husbands to care for the kids. *
"Details of the film, which is also to be directed by Smallhorne, were announced at the Cannes Film Festival where producers likened it to "Calendar Girls meets The Full Monty.
“They believe it will replicate the success of the two feelgood films which became box office hits around the world.”
The title undoubtedly refers to the wheelchair and gurney pushers at the Lourdes site.
A ‘feelgood’ comedy about Lourdes?
Anybody heard anything else about this upcoming movie?
